AS part owner of a smaller search engine, and new to the search engine and marketing, html scene. I can give some tips on what to do first. 1 Html: learn code, not all, but some. Most code is like most programs, if you learn enough. you can do it. 2. learn the terms and meanings of the web jargon, nameservers, domains, websites, where does the index page go? All that information is and will become important. 3. keyword management is the way to the top, not just managing keywords will get you to the top. But if you are serious about making the the last social frontier yours too, then somewhere you will have the learn what keywords bring you customers, (no matter what the jargon is, customers is what we mean) 4 Submit, link, submit, link, read, submit some more. And using smaller $01 per keyword ppc search engines that are legitimate are going to get you links, links, links, You get 200 times the advertising value from a small ppc than a large one like the google, yahoo, and msn. A penny really does go much further.

In it for the long haul. Smaller search engines that are not out just to change the world but be part of it, often strugle with the decisions of what and where to do so they may compete with the big 10. Speakers May Choose To Speak About Faith Or Success Or Hope

Has it ever occurred to you that graduates are like settlers starting out to conquer the West in their covered wagons? Their whole career lies ahead of them and they don’t know what the future will have in store. A speaker speaking at a commencement ceremony might keep that in mind.

He might speak about what they carry in their wagons to give them a start in their new life. In the case of the students it is a first class education and a qualification that will enable them to choose a career that suits their individual bent.

The students are unlikely to be attacked by marauding Indians or wild animals but there will be pitfalls on the way. There may be a recession, there may be too many graduates in one discipline making jobs hard to find. The speaker will have to give them ideas on how they can overcome such things. He or she may suggest alternative areas of employment or additional education that would make them more employable. His speech should enthuse the students to carry on with their journey.

There were times when the settlers came across rivers that were too deep to ford or hills that were too high to climb. They had to move around these obstacles often going miles out of their way to do so. Graduates may have to do the same thing and so a speaker must ensure that they understand that there is no shame in changing course, that life is rarely a smooth journey and that graduating is only a beginning.

Sometimes on their journey those settlers must have found pleasant spots to rest and to
water their beast. Perhaps the speaker might talk about the balance they should have between work and rest and about having time to appreciate the wonders of nature. In an era of climate change he or she may challenge them to overcome habits they destroy the ozone layer and damage our earth.

Speakers may choose to speak about faith or success or hope. Whatever topic they choose they should speak to the students with verve and enthusiasm. Then it is a case of wishing them well on their journey and “Westward Ho the wagons.”

I read somewhere that we are now bombarded with something like 1500 advertising messages a day…therefore, your ads need to “break through the clutter” & get attention without being too “hypey.” After you’ve got attention, try communicating a powerful benefit that your target market will respond to. These classic advertising principals work very well in pay per click.

Experiment with listing your price & numbers in your ad…Try listing a product number like “Model #73298,” the number you have in stock like “Only 148 left,” or the price itself like “$59.94.” This can help weed out tire kickers because anyone clicking on the ad will have already accepted that what you sell costs money. While this may lower your click through rate, hopefully only people who are farther along the “decision process” toward making a sale will be clicking the ads…

3. “Spying” For Profit.

One thing that can help lower PPC costs MASSIVELY is using other peoples’ data…Keywords that don’t convert or just plain cost too much can be huge cash drains (I speak from experience). While keyword research is a MASSIVE topic & it overlaps with discussions of buyer intentions & landing pages & a LOT more, you can benefit from spying on profitable campaigns by investing in 3rd party software tools…

Finally, try experimenting with a combination of these tactics & the TONS of other effective ones out there. Run split tests to see what your market really responds & get the technology that helps weed out unprofitable phrases even before you start…

Commencement Day Is A Red Letter Day

Commencement day is a red letter day. It’s an occasion for flying flags and lots of ceremonial. It’s a day parents and graduates will always remember. If you are giving a speech at the ceremony make sure it is remembered for the right reasons.

It should be short and concise. When people are in a celebratory mood they don’t want to hear long speeches. They want to hear something personal, relevant and happy. Happy is not a word you hear often in connections with a speech but it is important. You should say nothing that will detract from the good mood of those present.

That is not to say you cannot talk about a recession for instance but you must present it in a hopeful note or as a challenge that the graduates will easily meet. Everything on this special day must be positive.

You should be thought-provoking as well. Ask the graduates what they have learnt outside their books. What have they discovered about friendships, about people from different cultures and faiths? You might ask them how they feel they have matured?
You might ask them what their college education has meant to them?

This is a day for looking back as well as forward. It’s a day for reflection. How or why did they choose the course they did? What will they do in the future? Will they go back to studying? Will they work in a general or a specific field? Will they go abroad or into a family business? These are questions they have to answer now that they are qualified.

A good speaker will be encouraging and speak of the variety of options they have.
He or she will speak of others who have succeeded in a particular field. He or she will tell them that they can move straight ahead or take side turns in their careers. He or she will encourage pupils to be open-minded, ready for different adventures.

Until now students have had to concentrate on their examinations, on qualifying. Now they must concentrate on the bigger picture. A good speaker will make it an exciting picture. He will make them want to grasp the future with both hands. He will make them want to get up and go, but not of course, until after they have celebrated their graduation.
